E.R adventure!

My baby and I are b'h both fine, but we did take a trip to emergency room last night. I mentioned how I have been experiencing bad back pain, but since thursday my back has been really bothering me (more so then usual) On Friday my doctor wanted me to come get checked out, but the office is a 25 min drive and it was getting to close to Shabbas. I was nervous to head over there and be stuck! So they told me if thing progressed or if I experience any other warning signs then to go right away. I didn't feel like it was 100% necessary, and I wasn't experiencing any other warning signs. So I stayed put and I just popped some Tylenol over the weekend. So when I followed up with them yesterday, and explained to them what I was feeling, (back pain and fever like symptoms) they wanted me to get checked out right away, so this time I went. I really didn't want to go, I felt kind of silly going because my back hurt and I hate the emergency room, but I couldn't not go that would just be Irresponsible of me. When a doctor tell you to go you go! (Even if you think its nothing)
You would think I was one of those who had my doctor on speed dial, but Im actually pretty good and only called once before this, but not because I have nothing to ask, I just call my mom or one of my sisters. But if they weren't as helpful as they are, believe me I would call almost everyday, it's what they are there for. So don't be embarrassed or hesitant to pick up and call. And make sure to mention every symptom, to you they might be nothing, but when you tell them to your doctor some of your symptoms can mean something to them when together with others! I didn't think my fever like symptoms where anything, I thought it was because of the weather, but when I mentioned it to my doctor, that's when she started raising some concerns. So don't feel like when you call your doctors office your being a nuisance when your listing off your symptoms, It's important they get all necessary information.
At the hospital they hooked me up to monitors right away to check if my baby was ok. Next they check if I was dilating to make sure my back pain wasn't labor... b'h everything was good down there. Then they wanted to make sure I didn't devolve any infections, and if my kidneys were ok, so they took a urine test.
A nurse came in (not the one I had all night)  and mentioned how the babies oxygen levels were dropping and they needed me to switch the position I was laying. So of course I started to panic, but waited to talk to the nurse who was intending me all night. The nurse apologize that the other nurse has raised concerned, she said sometimes the monitor can pick up my heart rate instead of the babies which is a lot slower, and can look quite scary on the monitor.
Thank god everything is fine and all it was is normal back pain pregnant women can experience! But it is better safe then sorry, and it I think I did the right thing by just going to make sure that my back pain was just, back pain. As much as I'm ready to have my baby and I am so thankful it is still safe and sound in me!! :)
What a night! Stay safe!!
